pour point: The lowest temperature that an oil will pour under given conditions.
PSI: A unit of measurement for pressure indicating pounds per square inch.
scuffing load capacity: A measurement of when seizing damage starts to appear; describes how protective a given oil is.
silicone grease: Includes silicone oil, making the grease waterproof.
solid lubricants: Lubricants that are able to reduce friction between two surfaces and can provide lubrication at higher temperatures than can liquid lubricants.
synthetic oil: An oil that is manufactured from materials that are artificially produced rather than derived from petroleum.
